Can you pick up my vehicle from work?

Yes! We can pick up your vehicle from your home, workplace, or another approved location within our service area.

Our Valet Tire Service is available for most passenger cars, SUVs, and light-duty trucks. If you have questions about your specific vehicle, our team is happy to help.

Will you inspect my vehicle while it’s at the shop?

Yes. While your vehicle is here, our technicians will perform a courtesy inspection to help identify any concerns that may need your attention, giving you peace of mind before your vehicle is returned.

How do I pay once it’s completed?

We can send a link to pay with a card or write a check. We are unable to accept cash payments at drop-off.

The Wentzville Rod Run Returns August 7th

Wentzville, it’s almost time for Round Two of our annual Rod Run and after the unbelievable turnout on June 5th, we’re gearing up for an even bigger night of cruising, community, and classic car culture.

Our June 5th Rod Run sold out in about an hour and a half, with hundreds of cars filling the route and thousands of spectators lining the sidewalks. The energy and support for the S.T.A.R.T. Program was incredible.

Now we’re ready to do it again on Friday, August 7th from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

NEW this year: Extended Cruise Route

This year, the cruise route has been expanded to give everyone more room to enjoy the night.

The route will now:

  • Turn around in the American Legion parking lot
  • Turn around in the Pearce Hall parking lot

This extended loop helps improve traffic flow and gives cruisers more space to enjoy the evening.

Cruise Pass Information

  • $10 donation to cruise the route.
  • Proceeds benefit the Wentzville Police Department’s S.T.A.R.T. Program
  • Once you have  your pass, you may join or leave the cruise at any point along the route

1– The American Legion (Preferred Registration)

Please enter from Wentzville Parkway, then follow Luetkenhaus Blvd to the Legion.
This entrance helps us manage traffic safely and efficiently.

2 — Pearce Hall (Secondary Registration)

Registration will also be available at Pearce Hall if needed, but we strongly encourage everyone to register at the American Legion whenever possible.

Early Purchase Encouraged

The June 5th event sold out in about 90 minutes, so we strongly recommend getting your pass early at our shop 909 E. Pearce Blvd

Bonus for Early Buyers

The first 200 passes purchased at Harris Auto during normal business hours will receive a commemorative Rod Run sticker.

Road Closure Reminder

East Pearce Blvd will be closed from 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM for the cruise.
Anyone not participating should plan an alternate route.

909 E. Pearce Blvd Building History

Lincoln Elementary School (1900 – 1957)

Following Emancipation, a Black community emerged in Wentzville’s eastern edge. A school for Black students was first established in a log church near present-day Linn Avenue. In 1880, classes moved to the newly built Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church, which was later replaced around 1930. Lincoln Elementary was built around 1900 on the city’s eastern fringe, originally as a one-room structure with a gable entrance, a basement, and rear access. Its glazed ceramic block construction with white brick was distinctive, blending late Victorian and early Modern design elements.

The school featured chalkboards along the western wall, eight-over-eight ribbon windows, and a mix of architectural styles. While oral sources claim it was built on A.M.E. church land, no deed has been found. This would have been common, as Black churches often served as community centers and educational hubs. With increased enrollment in the 1920s, a second concrete-block classroom was added to the north, separating grades 1-6 in the front and 7-8 in the back.

Teachers included Tennessee Craddoc, Caudy Grady, Richard Lunceford, Emma Brown, and Leverne Miller. The school added indoor plumbing in the 1940s, and students used a playground to the east and south. Daily activities included prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, and songs like Lift Every Voice. Books were hand-me-downs from the local white school, and a wood stove provided heat until a coal furnace was installed in the 1930s. Lincoln School closed when Wentzville schools integrated in 1957.

Wentzville Auto Body & Glass ( 1957-1998)

Frank J. Toth owned and operated an auto glass and body repair business in Wentzville, Missouri at this location until his retirement in 1998. Frank W. Toth, Frank J. Toth’s father, started Wentzville AutoBody in 1957 following integration of the Wentzville School District. In 1962 Frank J. Toth was married to Barb Toth and shortly after bought the business from his father.

In an interview with Barb she describes the purchasing decision as a scary one, describing the thought of having a loan on the building for 3 years. The Toths’ lived in the white brick building now used for storage at Peters Drive In. Mrs. Toth described their early marriage living so close to their shop. She mentioned a Mr.Hommer who lived in the home between the current day shop and Petes.

Over the decades, Toth expanded the facility, incorporating a Tudor-style facade and making other modifications to accommodate his operations.

Despite these changes, he preserved much of the original structure and used the classroom as storage. Unfortunately, Mr.Toth was in an accident and became paralyzed in 1994. Mrs.Toth described feeling the weight of the business and how the Wentzville Community rallied to take care of the building as Mr.Toth was no longer able. The Toths sold the building to Dennis Harris,founder of Harris Automotive, who relocated his business from 212 E. Pearce Blvd. to 909 E.

Pearce Blvd in 1999. The building remains one of the last standing African American historical landmarks in St. Charles County and is being utilized as our 10-bay automotive shop and showroom present day.

The Wentzville Rod Run Returns for Summer 2025 Presented by Harris Automotive & Tire

Get ready, car lovers—the Rod Run is back and ready to rev its engines for another exciting summer in downtown Wentzville! Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the scene, this community event is one you won’t want to miss. Mark your calendars for two big nights in 2025: June 6 and August 1, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

A Tradition Fueled by Passion

What started as a small gathering of classic car enthusiasts has grown into a can’t-miss summer tradition. Each year, the Rod Run draws thousands of visitors to East Pearce Blvd. to admire an impressive display of hot rods, vintage cruisers, and modern muscle cars. This year’s events are dedicated to Dennis Harris whose passion for the car community and Wentzville kept the Rod Runs alive. Dennis passed away in August of 2024 but his legacy lives on. 

Cruise for a Cause

For a $10 donation, participants can cruise the route. All proceeds go to the Wentzville Police Department’s S.T.A.R.T Program, supporting youth education. Since 2009 when our records begin, the Rod Run has raised more than $120,000—a testament to the community’s incredible support and generosity.

How to Participate

Cruise passes will be sold the night of the event on Luetkenhaus Blvd. and the week leading up to the cruise at Harris Automotive 909 E Pearce Blvd. Due to high demand, early purchase is strongly recommended—passes often sell out quickly! 

Cruise Route 

See the attached map for the Cruise Route. Enter from Luetkenhaus Blvd, follow the traffic up to Pearce Hall and then back down. Enter and exit the cruise route at any time following traffic guidelines. Please pay close attention to spectators when cruising. 

Keeping Things Rolling

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:Spectators are asked to remain on the sidewalks and not enter the street during the cruise. Please respect local businesses and use provided trash cans to help keep downtown clean.

The History of the Wentzville Rod Run: The Wentzville Rod Run has deep roots in the local community, dating back to its inaugural event decades ago. The show takes place each summer on the first Friday in June and the first Friday in August. What began as a small gathering of car enthusiasts has since blossomed into a beloved tradition that attracts thousands of visitors each year. For a $10 donation anything from classic cruisers to modern creations can cruise down East Pearce Blvd. The Rod Run showcases the best of automotive craftsmanship and creativity while celebrating the rich automotive heritage of Wentzville and beyond. Over the years, the event has evolved and grown, yet its core mission remains the same: to bring together car lovers of all ages for a Friday evening of fun while raising money for a great cause. Proceeds are presented to the Wentzville police Department to support its S.M.A.R.T program (previously known as D.A.R.E). Over the last 14 years (2009-2023) the event has generated over $100,000 for the program. What to Expect at the Wentzville Rod Run: Whether you’re a seasoned gearhead or a local coming to enjoy the sights, the Wentzville Rod Run offers something for everyone. Prepare to be amazed as rows upon rows of meticulously restored classics, vintage muscle cars, and eye-catching hot rods line the streets of downtown Wentzville. From iconic Ford Mustangs to sleek Chevrolet Corvettes, there’s no shortage of automotive eye candy to admire and appreciate. As the sun sets on Friday evening, the streets come alive with the rumble of engines and the glow of neon lights during the Cruise Night festivities. Watch as cars of all makes and models parade through downtown Wentzville, their engines roaring and exhausts rumbling in a symphony of horsepower and nostalgia. Making sure that your antifreeze is safe for cold weather is essential. That is why we added this service that strengthens your antifreeze to preform at a high level in the freezing temperatures. This service is a unique formulation that restores antifreeze to its premier level of protection. It restores critical additive balance, proper antifreeze pH and provides protection against corrosion. Antifreeze breakdown during the cold winter months can lead to catastrophic failure.

Last in the three part service is a fuel system service which will protect the fuel system from harmful ethanol that attracts water and corrosion. This service prevents water held in ethanol-blended gasoline (such as E10) from separating, causing corrosion to the fuel system and freezing the fuel lines. It contains stabilizers to prevent fuel oxidation, neutralize acids, and form a protective coating on fuel system components to prevent fouling and lost performance.

Wentzville Food Drive

Troop 853 and Pack 993 with support from Friends of Wentzville Youth are hosting a food drive and are collecting non-perishable, unexpired items (no glass please).

Most-needed items include canned fruit; peanut butter and jelly; canned vegetables, such as peas, carrots, and spinach; canned pasta; pasta sauce; dry pasta noodles; tomato sauce; canned chili; canned beans; Hamburger Helper; boxed muffin mixes; and saltine crackers.

We are also collecting personal care items, such as deodorant; medium-to-large sized diapers; toothpaste and toothbrushes; shampoo and conditioner; and feminine care products.

All donations will benefit the St. Patrick St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Wentzville.

How to Donate:#1 – Drive by and drop off donations on November 21 between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Wentzville Christian Church, located at 1507 Hwy Z, Wentzville, MO 63385. Volunteers will be available to unload vehicles.#2 – Drop off donations November 16 – 20 between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Harris Automotive & Tire, 909 E Pearce Blvd, Wentzville, MO 63385.
