The History of the Wentzville Rod Run: The Wentzville Rod Run has deep roots in the local community, dating back to its inaugural event decades ago. The show takes place each summer on the first Friday in June and the first Friday in August. What began as a small gathering of car enthusiasts has since blossomed into a beloved tradition that attracts thousands of visitors each year. For a $10 donation anything from classic cruisers to modern creations can cruise down East Pearce Blvd. The Rod Run showcases the best of automotive craftsmanship and creativity while celebrating the rich automotive heritage of Wentzville and beyond. Over the years, the event has evolved and grown, yet its core mission remains the same: to bring together car lovers of all ages for a Friday evening of fun while raising money for a great cause. Proceeds are presented to the Wentzville police Department to support its S.M.A.R.T program (previously known as D.A.R.E). Over the last 14 years (2009-2023) the event has generated over $100,000 for the program. What to Expect at the Wentzville Rod Run: Whether you’re a seasoned gearhead or a local coming to enjoy the sights, the Wentzville Rod Run offers something for everyone.
