Wentzville, it’s almost time for Round Two of our annual Rod Run and after the unbelievable turnout on June 5th, we’re gearing up for an even bigger night of cruising, community, and classic car culture.

Our June 5th Rod Run sold out in about an hour and a half, with hundreds of cars filling the route and thousands of spectators lining the sidewalks. The energy and support for the S.T.A.R.T. Program was incredible.

Now we’re ready to do it again on Friday, August 7th from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

NEW this year: Extended Cruise Route

This year, the cruise route has been expanded to give everyone more room to enjoy the night.

The route will now:

• Turn around in the American Legion parking lot
• Turn around in the Pearce Hall parking lot

This extended loop helps improve traffic flow and gives cruisers more space to enjoy the evening.

Cruise Pass Information

• $10 donation to cruise the route.
• Proceeds benefit the Wentzville Police Department’s S.T.A.R.T. Program
• Once you have  your pass, you may join or leave the cruise at any point along the route

Where to Buy Passes

At Harris Auto Monday-Friday 8:00AM – 5:00 PM leading up to the cruise or the following locations after 5:00pm

1– The American Legion (Preferred Registration)

Please enter from Wentzville Parkway, then follow Luetkenhaus Blvd to the Legion.
This entrance helps us manage traffic safely and efficiently.

2 — Pearce Hall (Secondary Registration)

Registration will also be available at Pearce Hall if needed, but we strongly encourage everyone to register at the American Legion whenever possible.

Early Purchase Encouraged

The June 5th event sold out in about 90 minutes, so we strongly recommend getting your pass early at our shop 909 E. Pearce Blvd

Bonus for Early Buyers

The first 200 passes purchased at Harris Auto during normal business hours will receive a commemorative Rod Run sticker.

Road Closure Reminder

East Pearce Blvd will be closed from 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM for the cruise.
Anyone not participating should plan an alternate route.

With large crowds and lots of movement throughout the night, please:

• Be patient and respectful of those around you
• Obey all traffic laws
• Stay on sidewalks if you’re spectating
• Pick up all trash and help keep downtown clean

Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the scene, this community event is one you won’t want to miss. Mark your calendars for two big nights in 2025: June 6 and August 1, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

A Tradition Fueled by Passion

What started as a small gathering of classic car enthusiasts has grown into a can’t-miss summer tradition. Each year, the Rod Run draws thousands of visitors to East Pearce Blvd. to admire an impressive display of hot rods, vintage cruisers, and modern muscle cars. This year’s events are dedicated to Dennis Harris whose passion for the car community and Wentzville kept the Rod Runs alive. Dennis passed away in August of 2024 but his legacy lives on. 

Cruise for a Cause

For a $10 donation, participants can cruise the route. All proceeds go to the Wentzville Police Department’s S.T.A.R.T Program, supporting youth education. Since 2009 when our records begin, the Rod Run has raised more than $120,000—a testament to the community’s incredible support and generosity.

How to Participate

Cruise passes will be sold the night of the event on Luetkenhaus Blvd. and the week leading up to the cruise at Harris Automotive 909 E Pearce Blvd. Due to high demand, early purchase is strongly recommended—passes often sell out quickly! 

Cruise Route 

See the attached map for the Cruise Route. Enter from Luetkenhaus Blvd, follow the traffic up to Pearce Hall and then back down. Enter and exit the cruise route at any time following traffic guidelines. Please pay close attention to spectators when cruising. 

Keeping Things Rolling

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:Spectators are asked to remain on the sidewalks and not enter the street during the cruise. Please respect local businesses and use provided trash cans to help keep downtown clean.
